The Idea fly Apollo drone is a cool looking Ready-To-Fly quadcopter designed for the ones who are interested in aerial photography or video capturing.
With it’s compact form and flight capabilities, together with the in-air stability and control features provided by the GPS technology, the Apollo quadcopter can easily become your best friend, considering the price at which it combines both excellent and accessible flying and great, steady shots for your photography/video albums.
The in-built camera of this drone can capture HD images and transmit them wireless to a receiver (included in FPV versions)
It also plays an important role when it comes to the three flight modes, offering feedback about the position of the drone and helping the software to control even the finest moves.
The Apollo quadcopter is mainly made from lightweight, low-cost materials combined with carbon fiber which confers great stability and control and even more friendly resource consumes, and this means only that your flight experience will always be on a high standard.
To begin with, the Apollo quadcopter has three different flight modes for you to choose from:
The stabilized manual mode is semi-autopilot and a pilot has more control than other modes, making the drone more beginner friendly.
In auto hover mode the quadcopter will stop as soon as you release the controls, and will stay hovering at a fixed horizontal and vertical position. This setting is the easiest to fly and is generally preferred for shooting video as the quadcopter won’t drift or be as susceptible to wind gusts.
If return to home mode is triggered the aircraft will return the takeoff position automatically. The “Return to Home” or “Fail Safe” feature needs proper calibration.
The LED indicators attached to it bring a lot of control and responsiveness from the owner, giving great feedback about everything that happens with it in the air. If it happens.
Apollo comes with a remote controller and receiver. The only thing you need to do is to add the batteries (8x AA dry cell or NiMH) and you are ready to fly!
The drone has its own battery with a 2200mah capacity and 170g weight, both leading to flights that can last up to 10-12 minutes while recording.
